Dog-lover children
It seems that not only are dogs a man’s best friend, but it has also become children’s as well. Good family dogs serve as a playmate and a learning buddy for little tots, and they become fond memories when growing up. It comes as no surprise that Fisher Price, a leading brand of children’s toys, has come out with an interactive product that will surely be a hit with dog-loving parents and kids. The toy is named “Puppy Grows & Knows Your Name.” Its main features include a cute cuddly puppy than can know your name and grow to be a full sized dog in a span of four days, can even sing songs with your name on it, and comes with a kid’s puppy weight chart that a parent and child can bond over while filling up.

Initially, the parent should be able to assist the child in programming the puppy in the computer using the included application in the CD. This will set the dog’s name and your children’s name as well. After programming the toy, the child can already play with it much like a real puppy. Parents can have fun in monitoring the puppy’s growth while helping fill up the kid’s puppy weight chart. It “learns” as it grows, knowing what time is feeding time, singing more songs with the child’s name on it, and learning more responses when it is groomed or cuddled. After seeing the dog grow into an adult, it’s easy to switch him back to a puppy again by pressing the reset button.
This new toy from Fisher Price is a great way to get kids to learn more about dogs and teach them to become responsible as well. It is also an alternative for households who can’t keep a dog or other pets in their homes. With the cute dog that comes in colors of white or tan, interactive accessories (such as the brush), the kid’s puppy weight chart and measuring tape to keep track of growth, it would surely ensure hours of fun for the entire family.
